6-nail high-wind nailing
Six nails per shingle, not the four-nail minimum — the pattern high-wind and Class 4 warranties call for, built for the wind off the foothills.
Class 4 impact-rated shingles
Class 4 shingles meet the highest UL 2218 impact rating. They can reduce damage in hail events, and many insurers offer a premium discount for eligible products.
Ice & water shield
Applied at the valleys, eaves, and every penetration — where leaks actually start.
Synthetic underlayment
Across the whole roof, not old felt paper — a tougher, water-resistant layer under the shingles.
New drip edge & adhered starter
New metal drip edge on every eave and rake, with a factory-adhered starter course — no cut-shingle shortcuts.
Upgraded ventilation
Balanced intake and exhaust, sized to the attic, to protect the roof deck and keep the manufacturer warranty intact.
Manufacturer + workmanship warranty
A manufacturer system warranty on the materials, plus our own 5-year workmanship warranty on the installation — both in writing.
Licensed, insured, cleaned up
Current insurance documentation is available before work begins. When the roof is finished, we complete a magnetic nail sweep, haul away debris, and walk the property before closeout.
